  Stepped Cofee Grinder

This stepped coffee grinder grinds and is a good machine coffee to perfection. When grinding, the only complaint is that the coffee sprays.

Very disappointed, the box was undamaged but the hopper and lid of the grinder were clearly broken, most likely at the factory before it was packed. I really expected more from Rancilio.

Love this thing! I'm glad we decided to make a long-term investment in the grinder-- we cheaped-out on the espresso machine and I can't wait to replace it with the Sylvia!

Gets the job done very consistently every time. It seems it would last quite some time which a huge improvement over other grinders I've owned

Good, even grind. Outside of a little "static cling" with some of the grind, can't think of any real problem with this unit.

I spent a lot of time trying and looking out grinders that made a consistent course grind for my french press and this does the job. When you get it, you may have to manually adjust how course it gets depending on the factory setting, but that is pretty easy to do.

This grinder is wonderful. I am presently having my first one refurbished by the company. The only problem with my first one was the often falling of timer control.

Everything about this unit feels like it is of a different caliber than my previous grinders - there is plastic, but it is not cheap. The grinder itself weighs, approximately the same as all of my previous coffee grinders combined

After many years of cheap chopping grinders that did a mediocre job and eventually gave out, I splurged on a real grinder and couldn't be happier. Gives me a real course grind for my french-press and great fine grind for my espresso machine.

Grinder works well and coffee that results tastes great, but a few words about the anti-static hopper and container are in order. The hopper is opaque making it hard to see if the coffee beans are all ground or just stuck.

The small knob that determines and starts the grinder how long it will run is not pressed into place when you receive the grinder. With my present grinder, after three years of daily use, the hopper into which the ground coffee falls has become loose and vibrates out a bit as the grinder runs.

The flexibility and consistency of the grind from this machine is excellent. We are now drinking some of the best tasting coffee we've ever brewed.
